Last year, New Covenant started a community playgroup primarily aimed at mothers with children. “With a small church like New Covenant, we couldn’t have brought on another pastor otherwise.” Both Doree Rice and Moscoso’s wife, Megan, are active volunteers in the church. “Greg doesn’t require a full-time salary,” she says. She notes that New Covenant Assembly hired Cristian Moscoso as associate pastor last year, providing for more effective ministry to young adults, youth, and children.

I’ll bet he has an expensive house and cars. Eventually you have to put up or shut up. Fancy words will only get you so far in this world. In fact, he’s a little too positive to me. Osteen is very articulate and a very positive preacher. Does he use a teleprompter, or is he reading from a piece of paper on his pulpit? He’s a great speaker, but it seems like his stories are too intricate to be me evoked only by memory. I’m watching him right now on BET (believe it or not).
